Olearu Keru is Swahili for Leopard (David Dancey-Wood’s book)
This is a very engaging head shot of this amazing leopard. David has drawn the eyes so well they are almost glassy. You can almost see the reflection of what might be three Maasai in the leopard’s right eye. I love the detail in the fur and especially on this cats chin. David has drawn the scratches on the leopard’s nose and the colour and tones of the nose itself are so well drawn it looks moist!
